We use yet to talk about somthing we are expecting
We use yet in negative and interrogative

Already
We use already to talk about somthing happening sooner than expected
We use already in affirmative sentences

I'v already finished this exercise

The position of yet and already
Yet goes at the end of a sentence
Already goes between the verb have and the past participle

:Since and for
We use Since with a point of time and we use for to refer to a period of time

.We have lived here since 1983
.We have lived here for twenty years
